Today you will go from Medan to Bukit Lawang. On the way, you will leave Medan's busy atmosphere and entering the calm villages of Bukit Lawang. As you get closer to your hotel, you will see plenty of palm oil plantations. This is a transfer only, no stops included.

Jungle trek about 3 hours into the Gunung Leuser national park searching for orangutan and other Sumatra wildlife. The terrain you will be trekking on is not always flat but involves some hikes up and down. A bit hard but in return, you get a very nice experience. You have big chances to see orangutans, gibbons, thomas leaf monkeys, longtail and pigtail macagues, flying squirrels, Sumatra peacocks, and hornbills. A wild orangutans might cross your way. Your guide will explain to you many things about the rainforest. And he will show you many different kind of plants and flowers.
Jungle trek ends by the riverside from where you start the tubing experience. You will float down the river on car tubes for about 25 minutes. It is fun rafting and a relaxing way to enjoy the scenery.

Today you will go from Bukit Lawang to Tangkahan. On the way, enjoy the view of small villages and vegetations as you drive past bumpy roads. This is a transfer only, no stops included.
In the afternoon, for about 3 hours of moderate walk exploring the good trail system radiating out into the forest around the National Park give a close view of incredible scenery with various tropical plants and sightings of park’s primate; Long Tailed Macaque is possible following along the edge of a crystal clear mountain stream locally known as Butterfly Beach then walking to the elephant station and then join with the Mahout during washing the Elephant and then feed the elephant, after feeding the Elephant then go back to the hotel.

Today you will go from Tangkahan to Medan. On the way, you will leave the peaceful atmosphere of Tangkahan. Passing by small villages, you will soon entering the hustle and bustle of Medan.
